Workshop License & Agreement
Last updated July 11, 2026
1. Definitions
"Workshop" means any 1:1 online or in-person training session provided by Snrlx Media, LLC. "Workshop Materials" means anything we provide or show during a Workshop, including node trees, PowerGrades, presets, LUTs, project templates, timelines, written guides, checklists, training clips or footage, sample exports, screenshots, slide decks, session recordings, and any proprietary workflow structures embodied in them. "Client Footage" means any files you provide us (video, audio, images, or project files).
2. Scope of a workshop
What's included in a specific Workshop, its topic, curriculum, and deliverables, is described on that Workshop's product page. Anything outside that stated scope, including general editing, sound design, music licensing, VFX or motion graphics, filming coaching, gear consulting, general troubleshooting, or business/marketing consulting, isn't included unless we agree to it in writing as a paid add-on.
3. Eligibility
By booking a Workshop, you confirm you're 18 or older, or have a parent or legal guardian's written consent.
4. Your responsibilities
Workshops are provided in English or French only. You represent that you can communicate clearly in at least one of these languages to follow real-time technical instruction. If, in our reasonable judgment, effective communication isn't possible, including due to a language barrier or unusable audio, we may pause, reschedule, or terminate the session; fees remain non-refundable except where required by law.
You're responsible for having:
- A computer capable of running the required software smoothly, and any software or codecs listed on the Workshop's product page.
- For online sessions: a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and the communication platform we specify at booking (currently Discord).
- Footage suitable for training, preferably your own.
If your setup doesn't meet these requirements, the session may be delayed or reduced in value; this doesn't create a right to a refund.
5. Scheduling, rescheduling & no-shows
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement after purchase. You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability; additional changes may incur a fee. If you're late, the session still ends at the scheduled time. If you don't attend, the session is considered delivered.
6. No refunds
All Workshop purchases are final. We don't offer refunds under any circumstances, including dissatisfaction with results, platform behavior, or unmet expectations, except where required by applicable law.
7. License grant
Upon full payment or confirmed booking, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use the Workshop Materials for your own personal learning and for creating your own client or personal projects. You're free to apply what you learn to your work.
8. Strict prohibitions
You agree not to, directly or indirectly:
- Share, sell, gift, upload, publish, distribute, or otherwise make available any Workshop Materials to any third party.
- Teach, coach, or build a course using our Workshop Materials, or any substantially similar reconstruction of them, as the backbone of your own training product.
- Post or transmit any Workshop Materials, including screenshots, project files, exports of our training clips, or recordings, publicly or privately to others.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, ownership notice, or identifier embedded in Workshop Materials.
- Reverse-engineer or repackage our presets, node trees, or templates into products for sale or free distribution.
9. Training footage
If we provide training clips or footage during a Workshop, they're licensed for practice only inside your learning workflow: no commercial use, no client delivery or monetization, no public posting, and no redistribution in any form.
10. Recording & confidentiality
You may not record a session, by screen recording, audio recording, photographing the screen, or otherwise, without our written permission. We may record portions of a session only with your consent; any recording we provide you is a Workshop Material and remains subject to the restrictions above. You agree to keep any proprietary methods and Workshop Materials shown during the session confidential.
11. Client footage
You grant us a limited right to view and work with your Client Footage solely to deliver the Workshop. We won't use or publish it without your written permission, and you represent that you have the rights to use any footage you provide.
12. Intellectual property
All Workshop Materials remain the exclusive property of Snrlx Media, LLC or its licensors. No ownership transfers to you; you receive only the limited license described above.
13. Enforcement & injunctive relief
Unauthorized sharing or publishing of Workshop Materials causes harm that's difficult to measure after the fact. You agree we may seek injunctive relief to stop the breach, in addition to any other remedy available to us by law.
14. Disclaimers & liability
Workshops are educational. We don't guarantee specific results, audience growth, income, or platform performance, or that exports will look identical across every device and platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a Workshop won't exceed the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
15. Termination
If you breach this Agreement, your license terminates immediately and you must stop using and delete any Workshop Materials in your possession on request.
16. Governing law & venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. This is the entire agreement regarding Workshops and Workshop Materials. We may update this Agreement for future purchases; updates won't apply retroactively to sessions already purchased unless required by law. English controls; any translation is for convenience only.
18. Acceptance
By purchasing, booking, downloading any provided materials, or attending the session, you confirm you've read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement. Questions? Reach us at contact@snrlxmedia.com. This page works alongside our general Terms of Service.
